ABA Therapy Services in Nassau County, Delivered at Home
Nassau County is home, quite literally, our Malverne center sits at 341 Trinity Pl, right off Hempstead Turnpike, and it’s where our Nassau County families have been getting in-home ABA therapy since 2015. Our ABA therapy services in Nassau County are built around that proximity: because we’re based here rather than commuting in from elsewhere on Long Island, scheduling is simpler and our therapists already know the county. the LIRR branches families use to get to appointments, the school districts we coordinate with, and the pace of daily life in towns from Levittown to Great Neck.
Every program is one-to-one, delivered in your home, the kitchen table, the backyard, the walk to the bus stop because skills that are learned in real life tend to stay, in a way that a clinic visit alone often can’t replicate. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst designs and supervises every treatment plan, with a consistent therapist your family sees week after week.
Whether you’re just starting to look into an autism diagnosis or you already have a treatment plan from a prior provider, our Nassau County team can usually get a family from first call to first session within two to four weeks, insurance verification and BCBA assessment included.

Nassau County Parents, In Their Own Words
My cousin has been using Achievement Behavior Services, and our family has been very impressed with the care and support they provide. The team is professional, attentive, and truly dedicated to the families they work with. They make the process feel much easier and are always willing to help when questions come up. It has been a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend ABS.

We’ve had such a great experience with Achievement Behavior ABA! Everyone on the team is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about the well-being of the kids. They took amazing care of my daughter and made the entire enrollment process smooth and stress-free. She’s currently doing a mix of day camp and home services, and it’s been the perfect fit for our family. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, professional ABA support!

Do you have Questions?
We’ve got answers — dive into our FAQs below!
Yes. Sessions adapt to the space you actually have, a living room, a shared courtyard, even a hallway routine, rather than requiring a private yard or a dedicated therapy room. Your BCBA builds the plan around your real home, not the other way around.
The first visit is the BCBA assessment, not treatment itself. Your BCBA spends time observing your child in their everyday environment, talks with you about your priorities, and identifies which skills to target first — you leave with a written plan, not just a verbal impression.
Yes. When a family already has other providers involved, we align goals and share progress so the different therapies reinforce each other instead of working in isolation. Just let your intake coordinator know who else is on your child's team.
Most families schedule afternoon, evening, or weekend sessions. We coordinate with your school district or CPSE/CSE team when it's helpful.
Often, yes. Many families begin intake and the BCBA assessment while a diagnosis is still being finalized, since some insurance plans allow ABA services based on a qualifying evaluation. We'll tell you exactly what your specific plan requires during your free benefits check.
Yes. Your BCBA reviews progress with you monthly, and frequency can be adjusted — increased, decreased, or paused for a stretch — as your family's schedule or needs change.
Autism, also known as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a developmental condition that affects how a person communicates, interacts, and experiences the world around them. It is characterized by a range of behaviors, challenges, and strengths, which can vary widely from one individual to another. People with autism may have difficulties with social interactions, communication, and repetitive behaviors, but they may also have unique abilities or strengths, such as exceptional memory, attention to detail, or specialized skills.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding and changing behavior using principles of learning and motivation. ABA uses evidence-based techniques to help individuals develop important skills, such as communication, social interaction, and self-care, while reducing behaviors that may be challenging. The therapy is highly individualized and tailored to each person’s unique needs, with progress monitored through data collection and ongoing assessment. ABA is widely used to support individuals with autism, but it can also be effective for addressing a variety of behavioral and developmental concerns.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) benefits individuals with autism by helping them develop essential skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and improve overall functioning in everyday situations. ABA therapy focuses on teaching communication, social interaction, self-care, and academic skills through structured, individualized programs. It uses positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors, which helps increase independence and confidence. By breaking down complex tasks into smaller, manageable steps, ABA makes learning more accessible and promotes meaningful progress. Additionally, ABA provides ongoing data collection and adjustments to ensure that the therapy is effective and tailored to the unique needs of each individual with autism.
